Seth Cales is currently the CFO and Treasurer of Kenston Local School District. He has over twelve years’ experience in corporate finance and treasury within the private sector. There he was responsible for corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, financial planning and analysis, and corporate treasury. Seth holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree, Economics, from Kent State University and a Master’s of Business Administration Degree from Texas A&M University. In his spare time, he likes to stay active outdoors with his wife, Monica, and son, Ezra.
Greg Cordek is the Chief Financial Officer for Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL). Prior to Greg joining CCPL in 2023, he worked as the Budget Administrator for the City of Cleveland as well as other roles in the City’s Department of Finance during his 23-year tenure. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton with a major in Accounting. He holds the Certified Government Auditing Professional accreditation issued through the Institute of Internal Auditors. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and Cleveland sports.
Matt Rubino has worked in local government finance for almost 25 years. He holds a degree in Business Finance and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Akron (Go Zips!) Matt has been the Director of Finance for the City of Solon since May of 2016. Prior to coming to Solon, Matt had served as the Director of Finance for the City of Shaker Heights and Budget Director for Cuyahoga County, among the other roles during his 14 year tenure with the County. He also had the privilege of working with fellow CCOG member Bob Dolan at the City of Cleveland, Department of Finance many, many years ago. He currently resides in Medina with his wife Nicole, son Aidan, and a spoiled cavachon named Ginger. In his spare time he likes to be active outdoors and can often be found risking life and limb on the local mountain bike trails.
Jeff Mori is a seasoned operations and facilities professional who focuses on staff development, process improvement, and customer experience. Jeff has been involved in construction and operations his entire life, with knowledge and understanding of nearly every building trade and operational responsibility, from the everyday tasks to emergency response and mitigation. He has worked his way up the professional ranks from a master carpenter to his current Chief Operations Officer position. Jeff has a business degree from Malone University and a master’s degree in public administration from Kent State University. Jeff has enjoyed the journey of his career, building strong relationships and solving complex problems at the College of Wooster, Kent State University, and now at Cuyahoga County Public Library. In his current role, Jeff oversees Information Technology (IT), Facilities, and Security for the number one rated library system in the nation. Outside of work, Jeff spends time with his wife, Candy, and three children, Isaac, Conner, and Nya, being active and staying fit. Whether out hiking, playing golf, or training, Jeff is always competing to be the best version of himself and trying to bring out the best of those around him.
Dr. Willingham is an experienced educator and administrator. He began his career in education as an English Language Arts teacher. In 2002, he shifted from the classroom to become an Assistant Principal at Maple Heights City Schools, and he became Principal within the district in 2003. In 2005, Dr. Willingham was promoted to Assistant Superintendent/Director of Personnel at Maple Heights City Schools, where he remained until 2016. He served as the Superintendent at Midview Local Schools from 2016 to 2024. During his tenure as Superintendent of Midview Local Schools, he achieved numerous accomplishments and successes. He developed and implemented plans that set Midview Local Schools on a solid financial path, ensuring they remained financially sound. His commitment to enhancing opportunities contributed to students’ academic success and facilitated the expansion of Advanced Placement, College Career Plus, and Career Technical Education programs at the secondary level. Dr. Willingham is currently in his first year as Superintendent at Kenston Local Schools. He received his Doctor of Educational Leadership from Ashland University. He also holds a Master of Education and Principal Licensure from John Carroll University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Cleveland State University.
